Six years flying hang gliders
Four years as a competition pilot
What’s your best individual result?
Fourth in the Dutch nationals 2006
Your best flying experience?
A 160km triangle in Greifenburg, Austria, was probably the best. I like all cross-country flights that take me some distance, time or altitude. Greifenburg is my favourite site, but actually I haven't seen that many sites yet. My home base is Bruinehaar in Holland.
What’s your best team result?
First in the Dutch nationals 2007, as part of the Flying Dutchman team.
Have you flown Laragne before?
It’s a new site for me, so no.
Your expectations for the pre-worlds 2008?
Great flying and lots of fun! Hope to end as high as I can. Top 75?
Your life in brief?
I live with my girlfriend in Oldenzaal, Holland, and work as a technical manager for Ropeblock BV, a company that manufactures components for the lifting- and wire-rope industry. I play waterpolo, and apart from that I should be flying more often!
