Organisation
The 2008 Chabre Hang Gliding Pre-Worlds and the 17th FAI World Hang Gliding
Championships, 2009, are organised by Chabre 2009.

The club has been set up specifically to organise these events, and is a joint venture
between the two local clubs, Chabre Vol Libre and Avolia, with the support of the
FFVL (Fédération Française de Vol Libre), and facilitators working for the local
authorities.

We believe that recruiting a strong and experienced team is essential to running
successful competitions. It is a very international team, and although English will be
the competition language, we have people who speak French, Dutch, Spanish,
German, and many other languages - even Welsh.
We want to make sure we have sufficient, well-briefed personnel to help you at all
times, not just covering registration, transport, launch, goal, retrieve, scoring, office
and HQ facilities, entertainment and the prizegiving, but also before you arrive.
